When Rob Kaas was twelve years old, he killed three of his friends. It was after writing this story, in which three of his friends attempted (and failed) to escape from a ravenous beast which lurked in the field beyond their neighborhood, that Rob knew he would never stop writing.

In the years since, Rob has tried his hand at short stories, poetry and has even had a hand in writing a screenplay or two. His first paid writing job was as a journalist for the comic book website, ComicopolisOnline.com, for which he wrote articles and conducted interviews, all with a comic book/science fiction theme.

Rob is a believer in the lost art of storytelling and has been since he was a child, listening to his father tell tales of his youth. He relies on the memory of these stories and the feeling of wonder he felt while hearing them when writing his own work.

He also believes in fantasy.

Rob Kaas is currently living in Minnesota with his fiancee, son and two cats. He is currently working alongside long time friend and artist, Daniel Jaramillo, to bring his comic vision; BROKEN GLASS to the page. Work also continues on his novel, THE TEN STONES, as well as a trio of children's stories, two of which are entitled THE MEADOW and LITTLE SUZIE AND THE BOY WHO WASN'T THERE.
